Privacy Policy
Saw Mill Web Works is a brand operated by DCS Investments LLC. This policy explains how we handle information connected with this website and non-client business inquiries.
Information we receive
The website includes an online project-inquiry form. When that form is enabled with its approved Formspree endpoint, it may collect the name, business or organization, email, phone, current website, project type, timeline, and message you choose to provide. The form does not request a budget. It also records your acknowledgement of the notice shown at submission.
For attribution, the form may record the first landing path for the browser session, the submission path, the referring page, and campaign values such as UTM parameters, GCLID, or MSCLKID when they are present. The site does not install analytics merely to collect these form values.
If you call or email instead, we receive the contact details and business information you choose to provide through that communication.
Like most hosting and security providers, the service that delivers this website may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, and security events. This information is used to deliver and protect the site.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and discuss requested services.
- Prepare proposals and, if you become a client, perform the agreed work.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and inquiry process.
- Meet legal, accounting, security, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use inquiry details for unrelated mass marketing.
Service providers
Cloudflare is the planned website hosting and delivery provider. Formspree is the intended form-processing provider. It receives submitted form fields and attribution values, applies its validation and spam controls, keeps a temporary copy in its Inbox, and sends a notification to leads@sawmillwebworks.com. Microsoft 365 hosts that shared mailbox and later business correspondence. These providers may also process ordinary connection, security, and operational information under their own terms and privacy policies.
The Formspree Free plan currently provides 30 days of submission history in its Inbox. That Inbox and the notification mailbox are intake and recovery tools, not a permanent customer relationship management system. The owner reviews genuine inquiries and manually preserves business records that need to be kept longer in an owner-controlled lead log.
The public Formspree account, form endpoint, recipient, domain restriction, and production hosting have not yet been configured through this repository work. Until those external steps and staging checks are completed, the online form remains disabled on non-local hosts and the email and phone options remain available.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores a light-or-dark theme preference in local storage. During a browser session, it also uses session storage to preserve bounded form-attribution values such as the first landing path, referrer, and approved campaign parameters until the session ends or site data is cleared. Third-party demonstration pages or websites reached through links may use their own technologies and policies.
Retention
Formspree Free makes submission history available in its Inbox for 30 days. Provider operational records may follow Formspree's published policies. Saw Mill Web Works manually reviews genuine inquiries and may preserve them in an owner-controlled business record when needed for follow-up, proposals, security, disputes, legal obligations, or a resulting client relationship.
No automated two-year SharePoint retention or deletion lifecycle is active for this interim form process. Business records may have different retention needs depending on their purpose, and deletion requests remain subject to applicable obligations and legitimate business needs.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, or deliver services; with professional advisers when reasonably necessary; or when required by law. We do not publish inquiry details.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to a small business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, health information, or other highly sensitive data in an initial inquiry.
Your choices
You may ask what inquiry information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, subject to applicable obligations and legitimate business needs. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Children
This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the website, inquiry process, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision.
Privacy questions may be sent to daniel@sawmillwebworks.com. You may also call 914-318-4532. We do not publish a street address.
